Al-Muqarram Holdings Sdn Bhd (AMHSB) is an investment holdings company engaged primarily in the manufacturing of biotechnology products. Currently its main focus is in the manufacturer of quality products made out of lemongrass or serai, a plant commonly found in Asia and widely used for a variety of purpose.

Our products are naturally caffeine-free, allegen-free and GMO-free. Made exclusively from maturelemongrass stalks where only the best quality is utilized, each stalks is cleaned and inspected by hand. With the factory located in the close proximity of lemongrass farms in Kuala Selangor, fresh lemongrass is delivered as soon as it is harvested to maintain the quality of raw material and our products.

There are more than fifty-five species of lemongrass, most of which were native to South Asia, South East Asia and Australia. The East-Indian lemongrass (cymbopogon flexuosus) is native to India, Sri Lanka, Burma and Thailand.

The botanical genus name cymbopogon is derived from Greek kymbe “boat” and “pogon” beard, it refers to the bulbous and which is boat-shaped and the long blade-like green leaves which reminds of a beard. Lemongrass is cultivated commercially in Guatemala, India, the People’s Republic of China, Paraguay, England, Sri Lanka, and other parts of Indochina, Africa, Central America and South America.
